Read the Last Page of Every Contract First
Here's a trick that's saved our clients thousands: flip to the last few pages before you read anything else. That's where the termination clause, liability caps, and dispute resolution terms hide. Those clauses determine what happens when things go wrong, and they're buried at the end for a reason. If you see mandatory arbitration in another state or a clause saying you can't leave without 90 days notice, you know immediately if this contract is worth your time. Start at the end, negotiate from there.
